Well here I go, opening up my head a bit. Maybe we can both get a better understanding of it. I posed the question on my primary blog, A posse ad esse, as to whether anyone was even interested in reading some of what I like to call my scribbles. Thank you to those of you who weighed in on the topic, both online and off. I gave the matter a bit of thought, and while the prevailing wisdom seemed to be that "A Posse" was my blog and I should be able to post on it whatever I want, I had to step back a bit and look at it as not what I made it, but what it had made itself.
"What? Has this guy lost his mind? It's a freakin blog man, it ain't anything if it's not what you make it!"
Not quite.
Since I began the blog in March, I have been the one typing the text, but in some way I've been being guided by it. As I talked about the things I was exploring and learning about, I was blessed by input from you, the readers. I was also taken to new areas by the links I was left and the searches I was led on and this influenced me; I love that about "A Posse". It was conceived to give voice to the possible, and to help me document and share my evolution. It has and will continue to do so.
What I want for this blog is purely for me to share the thoughts I've had, and will have; to open my book of "scribbles" and some of my artwork up for your review. It's been something I've thought about for a while. Something a little scary to be perfectly honest. A lot of the things that I've written over the years have been kept to myself for so long, it'll leave me a little vulnerable taking them out in the open.
So with that, I hope you'll stop by for a read once and a while. Share your impressions and your thoughts and hopefully enjoy yourself.
